1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using 876Auto ("the Platform") at 876auto.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

876Auto is an online vehicle marketplace that allows private sellers, registered dealerships, and buyers to list, browse, and enquire about vehicles for sale in Jamaica. We act as a platform — we do not own, sell, or broker any vehicles listed on the Platform.

3. User Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You must provide accurate and truthful information when registering.
You may not create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.
876Auto reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Listing Rules

When posting a listing on 876Auto, you agree that:

All information in your listing is accurate, honest, and up to date.
You have the legal right to sell the vehicle you are listing.
Photos must be real photographs of the actual vehicle being listed — stock images are not permitted.
You will not list stolen vehicles, salvage titles misrepresented as clean, or vehicles with undisclosed major defects.
You will remove or mark as sold any listing once the vehicle is no longer available.
Listings may be reviewed and approved or rejected by our moderation team at our discretion.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Post fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive listings
Harass, threaten, or abuse other users through our messaging system
Scrape, copy, or reproduce platform content without written permission
Use the Platform to facilitate any illegal transaction
Attempt to circumvent any security or access controls
Create multiple accounts to abuse the free listing limit

6. Payments and Subscriptions

Paid features (extra listing slots, Dealer Plan, Featured Boosts) are billed in Jamaican Dollars (JMD) through our payment provider. By purchasing a paid plan, you agree to:

All charges are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
Plans are currently renewed manually — you will not be charged automatically unless you initiate a renewal.
Featured Boost add-ons are consumed upon activation and non-refundable once used.
Dealer Plan credits (free Featured Boosts) expire at the end of each billing period if unused.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. 876Auto does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or legality of any vehicle listing. We strongly recommend buyers inspect any vehicle and verify ownership documents before completing a purchase. We are not responsible for any transaction or dispute between buyers and sellers.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 876Auto shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to losses from vehicle transactions conducted through or facilitated by the Platform.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code on 876Auto is owned by or licensed to 876Auto. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written consent. By posting a listing, you grant 876Auto a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your listing content on the Platform.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may also close your account at any time by contacting support@876auto.com.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Jamaica.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
